Midtown Mile Road Race

Emory University Hospital Midtown is sponsoring the inaugural road race of the Midtown Festival of the Arts. Saturday morning, September 25, 2010, runners will take off from Colony Square in a one-mile race down Peachtree Street—through the heart of the festival—to the Fox Theatre. The Midtown Mile Road Race features one wave for competitive runners and another for recreational runners, families, children, and walkers. The course is wheel-measured and closed to traffic.

Race-day registration – $20 for adults; $15 for kids 12 and under. Race T-shirt may not be available for race-day registrants.
7:45 a.m. – Race-day registration begins at the starting line at Colony Square, 14th and Peachtree Streets.    

9:00 a.m. – Race begins! Competitive Race followed by Fun Run/Walk.    

10:00 a.m. – Awards presentation.
Race awards will be presented to the top male and female finishers in three divisions: open, Masters, and youth (12 and under).  

After the race, stay for the food, beverages, art, and fun of the Midtown Festival of the Arts.

Take MARTA to the Arts Center Station, N5, and walk around the corner to Colony Square at Peachtree and 14th Streets.   Reduced rate parking is available at Colony Square for $5 with parking ticket validated at the concierge desk.
